About the project
Objective
A complex platform combining multiple products, formats, and locations
Spotlight isn’t a typical marketing site. It brings together a wide range of offerings, from physical retail spaces and brand activations to digital media and large-scale experiential campaigns, all across Landsec’s national portfolio.
The challenge was structuring this into a clear, usable experience without oversimplifying the offer or overwhelming the user.
Solution
A modular, CMS-driven platform built to handle varied content and use cases
I developed a flexible WordPress build using custom Gutenberg blocks, allowing different content types, from media formats and activation spaces to campaign examples, to be assembled consistently across the site.
The structure breaks down a complex offer into clear sections, making it easy to explore:
Different service types (space, media, sponsorship, etc.)
Venue-specific opportunities
Campaign formats and use cases
The block-based system ensures the site can evolve as new formats, locations, and campaigns are added, without needing redevelopment.
